A web quote is a digital proposal with a mobile-first approach for customers on their phones and tablets. Send your customer a mobile-friendly link, see when they have viewed the proposal and have them sign and accept the proposal with a few taps.
- Create a proposal from a template
From any quote, from the left sidebar, click on “View Proposal” then click on “Create Proposal“. Select Create Blank Proposal then click Create Proposal. Then select a proposal to use for this quote.
- Select proposal type
On the right of the screen, click the dropdown and select “Web Preview”. You are able to set this as your default options in the Settings page.
- Edit and preview the proposal
To edit the proposal, click the “Edit” button with the pencil, then click “Finish Editing” once you’re done. Learn more about building a template from scratch here. To preview the proposal in a new window, click the icon in the top right corner of the page.
- Send the proposal
To send the proposal to the customer, click “Send Proposal”, choose an expiry date then copy the link for the Web Proposal. We recommend previewing this in your own browser before sending the link to the customer.
Web quotes revolutionise the way you present your proposal to the customer. There are some minor limitations when switching from an existing template:
Cover pages are hidden. Cover pages are hidden for all web quotes.
Extra pages are hidden. Extra pages are hidden for all web quotes.
Show only the first image. Only the first image from a System or text area will be presented on the web quote.
These automatic changes are necessary to provide the best mobile-friendly experience for your customer. Please continue using PDF proposals as you require for quotes where you require the highest level of customisation.
